PRIVATE LESSONS
Laura maintains a very small private studio in order to give her students exceptional attention and support.

New students will be considered for acceptance to her studio after an interview/audition.

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATION

RECORDING
Laura has assisted many musicians in recording demo CD’s for

INSTRUMENTS
Choosing a new instrument or headjoint can be a particularly daunting adventure. The greater Boston area boasts of several world renowned flute and piccolo makers. Laura has assisted many students and colleagues in

CHAMBER MUSIC
Chamber music has been a life long love of Laura’s - both coaching and performing. She has coached

• mixed ensembles

Single coaching sessions are available as well as short-term, goal-oriented work.

ADJUDICATION
Through her experience as an adjudicator, Laura Vincent understands the need to balance constructive criticism with positive feedback. She is sensitive to personal issues flutists may have feeling exposed and vulnerable during auditions and to the negative emotional baggage which may interfere with optimal performance under stress. She is available to judge competitions as well as to coach musicians on how to approach auditions in a positive, empowered fashion.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Laura has created, developed and administrated many successful music programs. She is available to consult with teachers and schools on implementing new programs for students including:

Laura’s classes and lectures are interactive and inclusive for her audience and performers.

PERFORMANCES
Laura concertizes in a flute/piano duo and a flute/guitar duo. Her repertoire for both duos ranges from Baroque to 21st century. She is constantly researching new and exciting repertoire to present to her audiences and custom-tailors programs for her audiences’ enjoyment. Laura is pleased to present works written by contemporary composers. She is equally comfortable performing in intimate and large venues. She enjoys speaking to her audiences about the pieces on her programs and welcomes the opportunity to meet audience members at post-recital receptions.

MINI-RESIDENCIES
Mini-residencies are available.

• weekend residencies may include a recital, a masterclass and lecture.
• longer residencies can include recitals, masterclasses and lectures as well as private lessons, individual consultations and coachings.

Residencies are designed to fit the requirements and educational needs of the participants.
